Life as it is...

Note: A super long post to summarise what I did last weekend. Read only if you're really bored. =P

Been keeping myself busy the past few weekends. Last weekend was good. Had a good rest during the day on Saturday, followed by a long and late night. ~o~

My Fair Lady was okie, not great, not that bad either. Since it's a whole different genre to The Phantom of the Opera, can't really compare. Had a good dinner though at Vivace. Brought my family there. Food was nice, ambiance was great.

Yummy Pan-seared Scallops~

Crumbed mushrooms with aioli~~ XD

Dropped by at a friend's party after the show, but so much for just "dropping by", ended up staying till 2ish 3 in the morning. @,@"" So tired..~ But it was a good night though. ^_^

Netball on Sunday, the usual people came and played. All good fun. No tennis for me this weekend tho, chose to sleep in the morning for an hour. Hehe.

And o, a quick message that I doubt I'll have the chance to say it to her in person.

"Hi Aunty,
How have you been? It's been a while since I saw you. Sorry I didn't come by to say hi personally coz I don't think it's appropriate under such circumstances. I've been made clear that my story has ended, and I have said that I will not interfere with the new chapter. Will definitely miss all the yummy food and bakeries, and all the good advices you had shared with me. Thanks for everything. =>

It was really nice to see you though, even just for a bit."

I have done my fair share of wrongdoings. I've have released my anger in many ways, and had said many nasty things. But I am learning. I'm rediscovering myself in different ways. I have changed. I let my thoughts speak out loud most of the time now, without caring what the consequences would bring. Oh wells. ~

We're only human.

Anyways, Sunday had been a long day. Went for dimsum with my family after netball. Went for grocery shopping, bought potatos. And no, it wasn't a trick question when I asked "how do you make a potato salad" Haha. I've not made it before, so I was curious what else people would put in it. Turns out it was really simple, potatoes, egg and mayo. Lol. Simple and tasted great~

Made it for a BBQ with my colleagues out at a beach/park in Point Chev. Man, I love that place so much. It's not the Coyle Park that we went before, it's on the side of the peninsular. Another pretty place. There's a free gas barbeque stove which works so amazingly quick cooking the food. Really nice trees and shade, watching the sun set in the west. The water was clear, and sand was good. Seriously let's go there again...^_^

A pretty shell amongst the grass....

Kayaking by the sun set...Clear blue skies~~~
The BBQ ended quite early tho considering daylight was much shorter now, and it was past all the babies' bed time, (colleagues' families). Haha~. Stayed on by the beach on my own for a bit until the sun completely set. The views were just spectacular. The evening sky. Just enjoying every moment. Took so many photographs of the sunsetting, the moon rising. Hehe~~

It's Monday, and it's gonna be a short week. Yay, four day weekend coming up~~
I know what I'll be baking this weekend. ;P Can't wait~~

Have a good night rest. ^_^
Sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite.

Goodnight.
