Better days

I finally baked a Bacon and Egg Pie. A treat that I've always wanted to bake since 4 years ago. I was lazy so I just used the puff pastry my dad bought from the supermarket. I don't know how to make the pastry myself, but I know it involves a lot of work, from rolling the dough out, and then fold them, roll them again, and fold them, and roll them again. That's to get the layers of pastry when you bite into them.

Anyways, it was a good Saturday afternoon, just took out the bacon and eggs and pastry, chuck them into the oven. Bacon, eggs and pastry can't go wrong and it'll be tasty regardless. =P

Afternoon was great yesterday, went for a coffee and a short catch up with Cath. Thanks so much for the Sunflower, it's sitting nicely in my room. => And no, I didn't have coffee, I had my fav soy hot choc, the usual stuff I get whenever I go for the coffee sessions. =D They make me happy. I miss the one that I make myself at the zoo. Oh wells.

I was in the mood for baking at night. Gotta love my coffee cake with chocolate topping. I've made this couple of times, and it's always good. (I just love my baking, haha).

Well, I had to spread the chocolate around while the cake is still hot. It makes really good topping =D
