Fun-filled weekend~
Went along to watch the guys jumping off the Auckland Harbour Bridge yesterday. It was so exciting. I was supposed to jump too, but unfortunately my family did not allow. I was really pumped and hyped about doing the bungy jump, and it's definitely something I do some time sooner or later.
It was rather fun walking under the bridge to the jumping pod, 40m above the water level. The guys were all strapped up in full harnesses. The harness do go around the entire body, over the head and buckled on the waist as well. The bungy rope is tied to the leg cuffs and you're free to jump. Once at the bottom, you pull yourself up to the release cord, which undo the cuffs, so you're hanging by the waist harness, and you'll sit yourself right up again, enjoying the views just above the water.
The ordeal is less than 2 minutes, and you're brought right up back into the jumping pod. Watching them jump made me so excited and my heart racing for them. There were many others who jumped as well, some opted to touch the water, and some dipped their whole bodies in.
All in all, it was fun watching them~ Definitely something I'd want to do.

Evening came with a really nice dinner, followed by a after-dinner plan B, which was really surprising indeed. It was a really nice setting for yummy cheese cake desserts. Plan A didn't really work because of the rain, but I reckon Plan B was just as great. ;)
Thanks for the effort and thoughts put to it~

Lazy Sunday morning, slept in and had breakfast. A day full of chores and maybe a bit of tennis later~
Have a good start to the week, and see you soon~
